INDIA WAVES YOUTH WING: India Waves Founder, President and CEO Lakshmi Baweja has been providing platform to South Asian Youth since 1994 on India Waves TV and Radio. She realized the need to form a non political and non religious youth organization identifying our heritage and retain cultural values. Her mission aimed to develop youth role models in South Asian Community with roots to India.
India Waves Youth Wing (IWYW) provides platform for Cultural, Talent and Civic responsibilities. Lakshmi established India Waves Youth Wing on January 26, 2002. Today IWYW is a community pride and service enjoying increasing popularity. Over the years 70,000 plus youth talents have participated on India Waves TV, India Waves Youth TV and India Waves Radio with zest, zeal and enthusiasm.

Develop Youth Role Models
Recognize Youth aptitude and potentials
Develop Leadership Skills
Imbibe Cultural and Family values
Explore recognition in Media, Academics and Talent in performing arts
Foster Indo-American friendship
Balancing Indian Culture with American Culture
Inculcate Community Service and Humanitarian awareness

India Waves Youth Wing is community service by youth volunteers.
Selection process includes educational, arts, cultural and family values. Recruiting opportunities for ages between 13 years - 17 years.
